How to fill a Moroccan Pouf

GUIDE : HOW DO YOU FILL YOUR MOROCCAN POUFFE?

If you are reading this article, chances are you got your hands on one of our Moroccan poufs! All our pouffes are shipped empty, so you have to find a way to fill them when they arrive. Don't worry, we've got you covered and filling them is part of the fun !

All Moroccan Poufs have a zipper on the bottom part and that's what will allow you to zip them ! 

HERE ARE OUR TIPS TO HELP YOU FILL THEM:

1. STORE-BOUGHT FILLERS

For a firm seat, opt for heavy materials such as :

  • Wool fiber
  • Cotton fibre
  • Or Felt

If you prefer a softer sit where you can sink into it:

You can choose between these options:

  • Kapok: a waterproof vegetable fibers
  • Silicone wadding
  • Moss flakes
  • Polyester foam
  • Polystyrene beads


2. DIY FILLERS

If you have any fabric laying around the house, you can use them to fill your moroccan pouf. 

You can use:

  • Old clothes you no longer wear or need
  • Old sheets, towels, curtains
  • You can even use newspapers


3. TIPS FOR FILLING YOUR MOROCCAN POUF:

Remember to fill your moroccan pouffe gradually, taking care to start at the edges to loosen the leather and avoid creases.
