WHERE IS RABAT?
Rabat is the capital city of Morocco and the country's seventh largest city. It was founded in the 12th century by the Almohad ruler Abd al-Mu'min as a military town. Rabat is located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, opposite Salé, the city's main commuter town.

THE KASBAH OF THE UDAYAS
If we are to talk about Rabat, then Oudaias Kasbah would certainly come to mind. The Kasbah of the Udayas, also spelled Kasbah of the Oudaias or of the Oudayas, is a kasbah (citadel) in Rabat, Morocco. It is located at the mouth of the Bou Regreg river, opposite Salé, and adjacent to the old medina of Rabat. It is listed, along with other sites in Rabat, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The original name of the qasbah was Qasbat al-Awdāya. Awdāya is the plural of the word wadi, meaning "river valley".
HASSAN TOUR
Never completed, this Hassan tower located in Rabat has nevertheless become the symbol of a city. Hassan Tower or Tour Hassan is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat, Morocco. It was commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate, near the end of the 12th century. The tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world, and the mosque, if completed, would have been the largest in the western Muslim world. When al-Mansur died in 1199, construction on the mosque stopped.
MAUSOLEUM OF MOHAMMED V
A monumental tribute to Morocco's king, this magnificent mausoleum is the resting place of the greatest leaders in Moroccan history. The site bears witness to some of Morocco's most important history and is a monument to the strength of the nation and its people.
The mausoleum is located across from the Hassan Tower in Rabat, Morocco. It contains the tombs of the Moroccan king Mohammed V and his two sons, late King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah.
