Moroccan Ramadan recipes : Almond sellou
Sellou or sfouf is a nutty, delicious confection of ground almonds and sesame - flavored with anise and cinnamon. It’s traditionally served during Ramadan, celebrations to mark the birth of a baby, weddings, and other special occasions
What you will need :

Preparation
Start by frying the blanched almonds in vegetable oil, then roasting the flour and sesame seeds in a skillet on medium-low heat. |

Use a food processor to mix both the roasted peanuts and almonds together |
|
Mix the dry ingredients together (flour, sugar , spices, sesame seeds, almonds, and peanuts); |
|
Add the melted butter and honey, mix well using both hands. |
|
Serve and decorate with powdered sugar and roasted almonds. Take a spoon and enjoy this amazing treat! |
