PLACES TO VISIT IN AGADIR
1- THE KASBAH
Visiting the Kasbah is the most authentic way to get a true feel for the spirit of this historic city. Built in 1572 by Moulay Abdallah al-Ghalib, this pentagonal structure was once a fortress and has been restored to provide a sense of what ancient Moroccan life must have been like. The Kasbah's most notable feature is its massive walls that look like a crumbling remnant of the city's past. The hill bears the inscription in Arabic: "God, Country, King" which, like the walls, is illuminated at night and the view is exceptional over the bay of Agadir and the ports.
2- LA MEDINA
La Médina is a handicrafts space created in 1992 by the Italian artist Coco Polizzi, at Ben Sergao, a district close to Agadir 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) from the city centre. Built using techniques of traditional Amazigh construction, it is a kind of small open-air museum, on five hectares and home to artisan workshops, a museum, individual residences, a small hotel, and an exotic garden.

Taghazout panorama does not yield to that of Agadir! The sun shines all year round and its beach, bordered by the High Atlas Mountains, stretches for nearly 7 kilometers. The argan forest that runs along it offers visitors a surprising natural diversity. The seaside resort itself provides you with prestigious hotels and original wooden bungalows, for a comfortable stay.
